4. Operating Instructions

The Eskiin Filtered Showerhead operates like a standard showerhead, with the added benefit of advanced water filtration.

  • Water Flow: Turn on your shower faucet as usual. The showerhead is designed to provide high-pressure water flow.
  • Filtration: Water passes through the multi-stage filter inside the showerhead, reducing chlorine, heavy metals, and other impurities.
  • Initial Use: During the first use or after a filter change, allow water to run for a few minutes to flush out any loose filter media. You may notice some discoloration initially; this is normal and will clear.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Filter Replacement

The internal filter should be replaced approximately every 2-3 months, or sooner depending on water quality and usage, to maintain optimal filtration performance.

  1. Turn off the main water supply to your shower.
  2. Unscrew the showerhead from the shower arm by twisting counter-clockwise.
  3. Carefully open the showerhead housing to access the filter cartridge.
  4. Remove the old filter and dispose of it.
  5. Insert a new Eskiin replacement filter, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  6. Reassemble the showerhead and reattach it to the shower arm, following the installation steps (Section 3).
  7. Flush the new filter by running water for a few minutes before use.

5.2 Cleaning the Showerhead

To prevent mineral buildup and maintain spray performance, periodically clean the showerhead nozzles.

  • Gently rub the rubber nozzles with your finger or a soft brush to dislodge mineral deposits.
  • For stubborn buildup, soak the showerhead in a solution of white vinegar and water for a few hours, then scrub and rinse thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners.
