5. Setup

5.1 Charging Dock Placement

Place the charging dock against a wall in an open area, ensuring there is at least 0.5 meters (1.6 feet) of clear space on both sides and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) in front of the dock. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.

5.2 Initial Charging

Place the robot onto the charging dock. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the dock. The robot will automatically begin charging. For first-time use, fully charge the robot for at least 6 hours.

5.3 App Connection and Smart Control

Download the ROPVACNIC application from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your home Wi-Fi network. This enables remote control, cleaning schedule setup, and access to customized cleaning modes.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Starting/Pausing Cleaning

Press the power button on the robot or use the mobile app to start a cleaning cycle. Press again to pause. The robot will automatically return to the charging dock when cleaning is complete or the battery is low.

6.2 Cleaning Modes

The ROPVACNIC S1 offers various cleaning modes, which can be selected via the mobile app:

  • Auto Clean: The robot intelligently navigates and cleans the entire area.
  • Spot Clean: Focuses on a specific dirty area for intensive cleaning.
  • Edge Clean: Cleans along walls and furniture edges.
  • Scheduled Clean: Allows you to set specific times for the robot to clean automatically.
  • Custom Clean: Define specific areas or cleaning patterns through the app.

6.3 Mopping Function

To use the mopping function, fill the electronically controlled water tank with clean water and attach the cleaning cloth. Insert the water tank into the robot. Adjust the water flow level (four-stage system) via the app according to your floor type and cleaning needs.

6.4 Suction Power Adjustment

The robot offers 3 levels of suction power. Adjust the suction power via the mobile app to suit different floor types and debris levels.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your ROPVACNIC S1. Always turn off the robot and unplug the charging station before performing maintenance.

7.1 Dustbin and Filter Cleaning

  1. Press the dustbin release button and remove the dustbin.
  2. Empty the dustbin contents into a trash can.
  3. Remove the HEPA filter and foam filter from the dustbin. Tap them gently to remove dust. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water.
  4. Rinse the dustbin with water (ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation).
  5. Reassemble the filters and dustbin, then reinsert into the robot.

7.2 Side Brush Cleaning

Inspect the side brushes regularly for tangled hair or debris. Use the provided cleaning brush or scissors to remove any obstructions. If brushes are worn, replace them with new ones.

7.3 Water Tank and Mop Pad Cleaning

  1. Remove the water tank from the robot.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the tank.
  3. Detach the mop pad from the mop holder. Wash the mop pad by hand or machine.
  4. Allow the water tank and mop pad to air dry completely before reassembly.

7.4 Sensor Cleaning

Wipe the cliff sensors, wall sensors, and charging contacts on the robot and charging dock with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper function.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your ROPVACNIC S1, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
