Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

2. Winding the Watch

Your Orient Symphony III features an automatic mechanical movement (Calibre F6722) that can also be hand-wound.

• Hand Winding: To start the watch or if it has stopped, turn the crown clockwise in position 1 (normal position) for approximately 30-40 rotations. This will build up a sufficient power reserve.
• Automatic Winding: The watch will automatically wind itself through the motion of your arm while worn. For optimal performance, wear the watch for at least 8-10 hours daily.

3. Setting the Time

1. Pull the crown out to position 3. The second hand will stop.
2. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. To ensure accurate time setting, set the time a few minutes ahead and then turn the crown counter-clockwise to the desired time.
3. Push the crown back into position 1 (normal position) to start the watch.

4. Setting the Date

1. Pull the crown out to position 2.
2. Turn the crown clockwise to set the date.
3. Avoid setting the date between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism. If you need to set the date during this period, first set the time outside this range, then adjust the date, and finally reset the time.
4. Push the crown back into position 1 (normal position).

5. Adjusting the Strap
