Operating (How to Play)
Game Objective
The goal is to be the first Trainer to complete your Pokémon Trainer Tracker Mat by collecting one of each of the 8 Pokémon types, OR to be the last Trainer remaining with Poké Balls when all other players have run out.
Turn Sequence
Players take turns in a clockwise direction. On your turn:
- Roll the Dice: Roll both the Numbered Die and the Catching Die.
- Move Your Token: Move your Pokémon token clockwise the number of spaces indicated on the Numbered Die.
- Perform Action: The action you take depends on the space you land on and the result of the Catching Die.

A player's hand holds a white game die, featuring red and black symbols instead of traditional pips, used for movement and actions.
Landing on Spaces
- Uncontrolled Location: If you land on a Location space not controlled by another player, you may choose to Explore it by paying the Exploration Cost in Poké Balls. If you do, you can attempt to catch the Pokémon type associated with that location by rolling the Catching Die. If successful, add a Pokémon Type Token to your Tracker Mat.
- Controlled Location: If you land on a Location space controlled by another player, you must either Explore it (paying the Exploration Cost to the owner) or Battle the owner to try and take control. Refer to the Game Guide for detailed battle rules.
- Adventure Space: Draw an Adventure card and follow its instructions. These cards can provide benefits like acquiring Pokémon or moving to specific locations.
- Challenge Space: Draw a Challenge card and follow its instructions. These cards often involve Trainer battles or provide strategic advantages.
- GO Space: Pass 'GO' to collect Poké Balls from the Bank.
- Other Spaces: Follow instructions on spaces like 'Free Parking', 'Just Visiting', or 'Go to Jail'.

A player's hand holds a 'Location Stadium' card, which provides information on the cost to explore, the type of Pokémon available to catch at that location, and any battle fees.

An 'Adventure' card is shown, instructing the player to keep the card until ready to use it, and allowing them to acquire a Pokémon from a rival Trainer's mat.

A 'Challenge' card is displayed, featuring a 'Super Battle Move' that allows the player to re-roll the numbered die once when battling.

Winning the Game
The game ends when either:
- A player successfully collects one of each of the 8 Pokémon types on their Tracker Mat. This player is the winner.
- All but one player have run out of Poké Balls. The last remaining player is the winner.

To ensure the longevity of your Monopoly Pokémon Edition game:

- Cleaning: Wipe game board and plastic components with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
