Important Safety Information

• Indoor Use Only: This LED strip is designed for indoor use. Do not expose to water or high humidity.

• Avoid Sharp Bends: Do not bend the LED strip at angles greater than 90 degrees or in areas where LEDs are located, as this can damage the strip.

Setup and Installation

1. Plan Your Layout: Measure the area where you intend to install the light strip. Consider how the strip will navigate corners. For 90-degree turns, loop the strip gently to avoid damaging the LEDs.
2. Prepare the Surface: Use the provided cleaning wipe to ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, or oils. A clean surface is crucial for optimal adhesive performance.
3. Trim the Strip (if necessary): If the strip is too long, trim it only at the designated cut marks (indicated by a scissor icon). Ensure the strip is unplugged from the power source before cutting. The cut portion is unusable.

4. Apply the Light Strip:
   • Peel off a small section of the adhesive backing from the light strip.
   • Carefully position the strip on your prepared surface.
   • Press and hold the applied section firmly for at least 10 seconds to ensure strong adhesion.
   • Continue peeling the backing and pressing the strip every 6 inches along the desired path until fully installed.
5. Connect Power: Plug the light strip into the power supply, and then plug the power supply into a wall outlet.
6. Download the Cync App: Download the Cync App, Powered by Savant, from your device's app store.
7. Pair with App: Follow the in-app instructions to add your new Cync Smart LED Strip Light to your smart home system. A 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection is required for smart control.
