Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the iron and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. First Use Preparation: Before first use, remove any labels or protective film from the soleplate. It is normal for a small amount of smoke or odor to be produced during the first few minutes of use. This will disappear quickly.
  3. Filling the Water Tank:
    • Ensure the iron is unplugged.
    • Detach the water tank by pressing the release button and sliding it out.
    • Fill the tank with distilled or demineralized water up to the 'MAX' line. Do not use scented water, water from tumble dryers, or other additives.
    • Reinsert the water tank until it clicks securely into place.

  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The indicator light will illuminate.

Operating Instructions

Ironing Mode:

  1. Heat-Up: The iron heats up in approximately 30 seconds. The indicator light will turn off when the desired temperature is reached.
  2. Fabric Selection: Due to the no-setting technology, the iron automatically adjusts to all ironable fabrics. No manual temperature adjustment is needed.
  3. Steam Ironing: Press the steam trigger under the handle to release continuous steam. For an extra burst of steam, press the steam boost button.
  4. Dry Ironing: For dry ironing, ensure the steam control is set to the 'no steam' position.
  5. Spray Function: Use the spray button on the top of the handle to lightly moisten stubborn wrinkles.

Steaming Mode (Vertical Steaming):

  1. Preparation: Hang the garment on a hanger. Ensure the water tank is filled.
  2. Steaming: Hold the iron vertically, close to the fabric, but not touching it. Press the steam trigger to release steam. Move the iron up and down the garment.

Maintenance and Care

  1. After Each Use:
    • Unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely.
    • Empty any remaining water from the tank.
    • Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth to remove any residue.
