1. Introduction

3. Setup & Installation

The MekedeTech Android Car Radio is designed for a plug-and-play installation in your VW Volkswagen Golf Mk 4 (2004-2008). It includes all necessary accessories for installation, such as the dash kit, power cable, RCA cable, reversing camera cable, and USB cables.

3.1 Pre-Installation Checks

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Functions

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button on the unit or use the vehicle's ignition.
• Volume Control: Adjust volume using the physical knobs on the unit or the steering wheel controls.
• Touch Screen: The 9-inch IPS touch screen with 1024*600 resolution supports multi-touch gestures for navigation and control.

4.2 Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto

The unit features built-in wireless CarPlay and wired Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration.

For Wireless CarPlay (iOS System):

1. Connect your iPhone to the head unit via Bluetooth.
2. On the head unit, select the "Car Link" application.
3. Wait for the connection to establish. CarPlay can also be connected via a USB cable.

For Wireless Android Auto (Android System):

1. Connect your Android phone to the head unit via Bluetooth.
