Safety Instructions

Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Mountman Evaporative Air Cooler:

  1. Attach Universal Wheels: Carefully tilt the unit and attach the four universal wheels to the designated slots at the bottom. Two of the wheels are equipped with brakes for stability. Ensure they are securely fastened.
  2. Install Cooling Pads: The unit comes with 3 upgraded evaporative cooling pads. Ensure they are properly seated within their compartments.

  4. Prepare Ice Packs: For enhanced cooling, place the included ice packs in a freezer until completely frozen.

  6. Fill Water Tank: The unit features a 10.6-gallon water tank. You can fill it manually from the top by removing the cover, or use the automatic continuous fill feature with a garden hose. The practical Low-Max water level line helps monitor the water level.

Control Panel

The unit features a user-friendly control panel with mechanical buttons for various functions:

  • Power Button: Turns the unit ON/OFF.
  • Fan Speed Buttons (High, Medium, Low): Select your desired airflow intensity.

Cleaning the Water Tank

To prevent mold and maintain hygiene, it is recommended to clean the water tank regularly. The unit features a drainage port at the bottom for easy water removal.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Locate the drainage port at the bottom of the unit.
  3. Open the drainage plug to empty the water tank.
  4. Clean the tank with a soft cloth and mild detergent, then rinse thoroughly.
  5. Close the drainage plug securely before refilling.

Cleaning Cooling Pads

The evaporative cooling pads should be cleaned periodically to ensure efficient cooling.

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Carefully remove the cooling pads from their compartments.
  3. Rinse the pads under running water to remove dust and mineral deposits. For stubborn buildup, a soft brush can be used.
  4. Allow the pads to air dry completely before reinserting them into the unit.
