2. Safety Information

• Never heat the pot when empty. Ensure there is water or oil in the pot before placing it over a burner to prevent damage.

4. Setup

The VIVOHOME 18 Qt Aluminum Deep Fryer Pan and Basket requires minimal assembly. The frying basket handle needs to be attached.

1. Unpack all components and ensure all parts are present.
2. Attach the heat-resistant handle to the frying basket using the provided M5 bolts, flat washers, and tooth washers. Tighten securely with an adjustable wrench and screwdriver (not included).
3. Place the frying basket inside the aluminum fry pan.
4. Attach the thermometer to the side of the frying basket or pot, ensuring the probe is submerged in the oil/water without touching the bottom.

5. Operation

This versatile fryer can be used for deep frying, boiling, and steaming. Always ensure proper ventilation when operating.

5.1 Deep Frying

1. Place the aluminum fry pan on a stable gas or propane burner.
2. Fill the pan with cooking oil, ensuring the oil level is sufficient to submerge the food but does not exceed the maximum fill line or 3 inches from the top of the pot.
3. Insert the thermometer and heat the oil to the desired temperature.
4. Carefully place food into the frying basket. Do not overload the basket.
5. Slowly lower the basket into the hot oil.
6. Fry until food is cooked to your preference.
7. Carefully lift the basket, allowing excess oil to drain back into the pot.
8. Remove food from the basket and place on a paper towel-lined plate.

5.2 Boiling and Steaming

The pot can also be used for boiling or steaming by removing the frying basket and filling the pot with water. The basket can be used as a steamer insert if desired.
