Setup
Connecting the Controller
- Ensure your Xbox console is powered on.
- Connect the USB-C end of the included cable to the USB-C port on the top of the PowerA Advantage Wired Controller.
- Connect the USB-A end of the cable to an available USB port on your Xbox console.
- The controller will automatically connect to your console. The Xbox button on the controller will illuminate to indicate a successful connection.

Operating the Controller
Basic Controls and Ergonomics
The PowerA Advantage Wired Controller features standard Xbox button layouts, including two analog sticks, a D-pad, A/B/X/Y buttons, shoulder buttons (LB, RB), and triggers (LT, RT). Its design prioritizes comfort during extended gaming sessions.

Mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons
The controller includes two mappable Advanced Gaming Buttons (AGB) on the back. These buttons can be assigned to replicate any standard controller button (A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT, Left Stick Click, Right Stick Click, D-pad).
- To Program Advanced Gaming Buttons:
- Press the Program Button (small button on the back, usually near the center) for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will flash.
- Press the button you wish to map (e.g., 'A' button). The LED will flash rapidly.
- Press the Advanced Gaming Button (AGB1 or AGB2) you wish to assign. The LED will stop flashing, indicating the button is programmed.
- To Reset Advanced Gaming Buttons:
- Press and hold the Program Button for 5 seconds. The LED will flash slowly, then turn off, indicating all AGBs are reset to default.

3-Way Trigger Locks
The controller features 3-way trigger locks for both the Left and Right Triggers. These allow you to adjust the travel distance of the triggers, providing faster response times in certain games.
- Position 1 (T1): Full trigger travel for maximum control, ideal for racing games.
- Position 2 (T2): Reduced trigger travel for quicker input, suitable for many action games.
- Position 3 (T3): Minimal trigger travel for rapid-fire actions, often used in competitive shooters.

Dual Rumble Motors
The controller is equipped with dual rumble motors, providing tactile feedback during gameplay for enhanced immersion. The intensity of the rumble is controlled by the game.

PowerA Gamer HQ App
For advanced customization and calibration, download the PowerA Gamer HQ App from the Xbox Store. This app allows you to test controller functions, calibrate sticks and triggers, and update firmware.

Maintenance
- Keep the controller clean by wiping it with a dry, soft cloth.

Troubleshooting
Controller Not Responding
- Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the controller and the Xbox console.
- Try connecting the cable to a different USB port on your console.
- Restart your Xbox console.
- Test the controller on another Xbox console or PC (if compatible) to determine if the issue is with the controller or the console.
Buttons or Sticks Not Working Correctly
- Ensure no debris is lodged around the buttons or sticks.
- Calibrate the controller using the PowerA Gamer HQ App.
- If the issue persists, contact PowerA customer support.
