1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller. This controller is designed for an enhanced gaming experience on Windows PC and Android devices, featuring advanced Hall Effect technology and a high polling rate for precise control. This special edition controller features a unique Black Myth: Wukong design.

3. Setup

3.1. Compatibility

• Windows: Compatible with Windows 10 and above.
• Android: Compatible with Android 9.0 and above.

3.2. Connecting Your Controller

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2C controller offers multiple connection methods:

2.4G Wireless Connection (for Windows PC)

1. Insert the 2.4G wireless adapter into an available USB port on your Windows PC.
2. Turn on the controller by pressing the 8BitDo logo button. The indicator light will blink.
3. The controller will automatically pair with the adapter. Once connected, the indicator light will become solid.

Bluetooth Connection (for Android)

1. Turn on the controller by pressing the 8BitDo logo button.
2. On your Android device, go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
3. Select "8BitDo Ultimate 2C" from the list of available devices to pair.
4. Once connected, the indicator light on the controller will become solid.

Wired Connection (for Windows PC)

1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the controller's USB-C port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to an available USB port on your Windows PC.
3. The controller will be automatically recognized and ready for use.

4. Operating the Controller

4.1. Key Features

• Hall Effect Joysticks and Triggers: Provides robust, long-lasting precision and sensitivity, minimizing drift.
• 1000Hz Polling Rate: Ensures precise, low-latency responsiveness for competitive gaming.
• Remappable L4/R4 Bumpers: Extra buttons on the back for custom button mapping without needing software.
• Refined Bumpers and D-pad: Calibrated for a clicky but smooth feel, offering light yet tactile feedback.
• Turbo Function: Allows for rapid, repeated button presses.

4.2. Custom Button Mapping (L4/R4)

The L4 and R4 buttons on the back of the controller can be customized directly on the device without external software. Refer to the quick start guide for specific button combination instructions to remap these functions.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Charging the Controller

The controller features a built-in Lithium Polymer battery. To charge, connect the supplied USB-C cable to the controller's USB-C port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., PC, USB wall adapter). The indicator light will show charging status.

5.2. Cleaning and Storage

• Wipe the controller with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Connectivity Issues

• 2.4G Wireless: Ensure the 2.4G adapter is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port if issues persist.
• Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Android device and the controller is in pairing mode. Remove previous pairings and try reconnecting.
• Wired: Verify the USB-C cable is not damaged and is securely connected to both the controller and your PC.

6.2. Button/Joystick Unresponsiveness

• Ensure the controller is fully charged.
• Restart the controller and your device.
• For Hall Effect joysticks, drift is significantly reduced, but if issues arise, ensure no physical obstructions are present.
