4. Setup and Installation

  1. Solar Panel Placement:

Choose a location for the solar panel that receives a minimum of 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. This is crucial for optimal battery charging. The solar panel can be mounted using the included ground stake or mounting bracket and hardware.

    • Ground Stake Installation: Attach the ground stake to the solar panel and firmly insert it into soft ground in a sunny spot.
    • Surface Mounting: Use the mounting bracket and screws to secure the solar panel to a wall, fence, or other stable surface. Adjust the angle of the panel to face the sun directly.
  2. Battery Installation (if not pre-installed):

Locate the battery compartment on the back of the solar panel. Insert the two 3.7 Volt rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

  3. String Light Installation:

Carefully uncoil the 30-foot string lights. Hang the lights in your desired outdoor area, such as along a patio edge, pergola, or fence. The bulbs are spaced approximately 2 feet (60.9 cm) apart. Ensure the string is securely fastened to prevent damage from wind or movement.
