1. Product Overview

The ENGWE EASE1 Folding 4-Wheel Mobility Scooter is designed to provide reliable and comfortable personal transportation. It features a 24V 250W motor, a 24V 12Ah battery, and a top speed of 6.2 mph, offering a driving range of approximately 15.5 miles per charge. The scooter is equipped with an upgraded, comfortable seat that swivels 360 degrees for easy access, and a control panel for intuitive operation. Safety features include a slope safety mechanism and anti-roll wheels.

2. Setup and Assembly

The ENGWE EASE1 Mobility Scooter requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your scooter for use:

  1. Unboxing and Component Check: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts, including the main scooter body, seat, armrests, basket, charger, and installation tools (wrenches, Allen keys), are present.
  2. Folding Riser Installation: Ensure the folding riser is securely in place.
  3. Seat Installation: Insert the seat post into the designated slot on the scooter body. Press the seat fixed rod to lock the seat securely.
  4. Armrest Installation: Install the left and right armrests onto the seat frame. Adjust them for comfort and secure them.
  5. Basket Installation: Attach the detachable basket to the front of the handlebar column. Press and tighten it down firmly.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Control Panel Overview

3.2 Electric Mode Operation

Before operating the scooter in electric mode, ensure the brake lever is adjusted backward to release the brake. This allows the scooter to move under power. If the brake is in the forward (manual) position, the electric function will not engage, and an alarm may sound.

3.3 Manual Mode (Push Only)

To move the scooter manually without electric power, push the brake lever forward to engage manual mode. In this mode, the electric functions (driving and braking) are disabled, and the scooter can only be pushed by hand.
