4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials from the box.
- Inspect the cooktop and accessories for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
4.2 Placement
- Place the cooktop on a dry, flat, and stable surface.
- Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper ventilation (at least 4 inches from walls or other appliances).
- Avoid placing the cooktop near heat sources, water, or flammable materials.
4.3 Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Ensure the outlet's specifications match the cooktop's power requirements (1800W).
4.4 Initial Cleaning
- Before first use, wipe the cooktop surface and griddle pan with a damp cloth.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before plugging in and operating.
5. Operating Instructions
The AMEGAT Double Induction Cooktop features a 'knob + touch' control design for ease of use. It offers two primary cooking modes: Induction and Grill.

5.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn on: Press the ON/OFF button. The display will light up.
- To turn off: Press the ON/OFF button again.
5.2 Induction Mode
This mode is for general cooking with compatible induction cookware.
- Place compatible cookware on one of the heating zones.
- Press the INDUCTION button.
- Adjust the power level using the corresponding knob. Power levels range from P1 to P8.
- When using only one burner, the maximum power level is P8.
- When using both burners in induction mode, the total power will not exceed 1800W. The power levels of both burners will add up to P8. For example, if one burner is set to P4, the other can be set to a maximum of P4.

5.3 Grill Mode
This mode is specifically designed for use with the removable cast iron griddle pan.
- Place the removable cast iron griddle pan onto the cooktop, ensuring it is properly seated over both heating zones.
- Press the GRILL button.
- Adjust the power level using the knob. Power levels for grill mode range from P1 to P6.
- In grill mode, both burners are controlled simultaneously, and the maximum power level is P6.
- Use the provided rubber handle covers when handling the hot griddle pan.
5.4 Timer Function
The cooktop features a timer that can be set from 0 to 99 minutes.
- While the cooktop is operating, press the TIMER button.
- Use the corresponding knob to set the desired cooking time.
- The cooktop will automatically shut down once the timer expires.
5.5 Compatible Cookware
The AMEGAT Induction Cooktop requires cookware with a magnetic bottom. To check compatibility, place a magnet on the bottom of your cookware. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is compatible.
- Compatible: Flat-bottomed cookware made of steel cast iron, stainless steel, or enameled cast iron. The bottom diameter of the pot should be between 4.72 inches and 9.45 inches.
- Incompatible: Cookware made of aluminum, ceramic, copper, or glass.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your cooktop.
6.1 Safety First
- Always unplug the cooktop from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Allow the appliance to cool completely before touching or cleaning any surfaces.
6.2 Cooktop Surface Cleaning
- Wipe the smooth glass surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for glass cooktops.
- Dry thoroughly with a clean, soft cloth.
6.3 Griddle Pan Cleaning
- The removable cast iron griddle pan features a non-stick coating.
