- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Initial Warm-up: Turn on the laminator using the power switch. Allow the machine to preheat for 3-5 minutes until the 'Ready' indicator light turns green.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 General Lamination Steps
- Turn on the machine: Flip the power switch to the 'ON' position.
- Wait for 'Ready' light: Allow 3-5 minutes for the laminator to preheat. The 'Ready' indicator light will turn green when it's ready for use.
- Prepare document: Place your document inside a laminating pouch, ensuring it is centered and there is an even border around the edges.
- Insert the pouch: Gently feed the sealed edge of the laminating pouch into the laminator's inlet slot. The machine will automatically pull the pouch through.
- Hold the pouch: Support the laminated document as it exits the machine to prevent it from bending or creasing.

6.2 Hot Lamination
For most standard documents and photos, use the hot lamination mode. Ensure the machine is fully preheated as indicated by the green 'Ready' light.
6.3 Cold Lamination
For heat-sensitive documents or items, use the cold lamination mode. This mode does not require preheating. Ensure you are using self-adhesive laminating pouches designed for cold lamination (not included).
6.4 Using Accessories
- Paper Trimmer: Use the included paper trimmer to cut excess blank size from your documents or photos before or after lamination. Place the document under the cutting guide and slide the blade along the edge.
- Corner Rounder: After lamination, use the corner rounder to trim sharp corners, providing a professional finish and preventing sharp edges. Insert the corner of the laminated document into the slot and press down.
- Hole Puncher & Iron Rings: Use the hole puncher to create holes in your laminated documents. The included iron rings can then be used to bind multiple laminated sheets together.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Exterior: Unplug the laminator and allow it to cool completely. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Cleaning Rollers: Periodically run a folded piece of paper through the laminator to help clean the rollers. For stubborn residue, a specialized laminator cleaning sheet (not included) can be used.
- Storage: Store the laminator in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting
- Laminator Not Turning On: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the laminator and the wall outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Paper Jam: If a pouch gets stuck, immediately press and hold the 'ABS' release button to disengage the rollers. Gently pull the jammed pouch out from the inlet or exit slot.

- Poor Lamination Quality (Bubbles, Wrinkles):
- Ensure the laminator has fully preheated and the 'Ready' light is green for hot lamination.
- Check that the document is properly centered within the laminating pouch.
- Use laminating pouches of the correct thickness (80-100mic) for optimal results.
- Avoid feeding multiple documents or overly thick items.
- Laminator Not Heating: If the 'Ready' light does not turn green after 5 minutes, unplug the unit and plug it back in. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
