3. Product Overview
3.1 Main Display Unit
The main unit features a 3.7-inch high-definition LCD screen that simultaneously displays temperatures for both the refrigerator and freezer. It also shows MAX/MIN temperature values and alarm indicators.
- Display: Shows current, maximum, and minimum temperatures for both sensors.
- Buttons: For setting alarms, switching temperature units (°C/°F), and clearing MAX/MIN records.
- Backlight: 10-second backlight for improved visibility in low light.
- Power Source: 3 x AAA batteries (not included).

3.2 Remote Sensors
Two wireless sensors are included, one designated for the freezer and one for the refrigerator. They transmit temperature data to the main unit wirelessly.
- Designation: Clearly labeled for "FREEZER" and "REFRIGERATOR".
- Installation: Equipped with detachable hooks for hanging or can be placed on a flat surface.
- Power Source: Each sensor requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included).

4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Battery Installation
- Main Unit: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main display unit. Insert 3 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment. The display will turn on.
- Remote Sensors: Open the battery compartment on the back of each remote sensor. Insert 2 x AAA batteries into each sensor, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartments.
4.2 Sensor Placement and Pairing
- Place the "FREEZER" labeled sensor inside your freezer compartment. You can use the detachable hook to hang it from a shelf or place it on a flat surface.
- Place the "REFRIGERATOR" labeled sensor inside your refrigerator compartment. Similarly, use the hook or place it on a surface.
- Ensure the main unit is within the wireless range (up to 80 meters in open air) of both sensors.
- Upon initial power-on, the main unit will automatically search for and pair with the sensors. A flashing signal icon on the display indicates signal reception. The main unit will display the transmitted temperatures once paired. This process may take up to 30 seconds.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power Saving Mode
To conserve battery life, the display screen of the main unit will automatically turn off after 10 seconds of no button operation. Press any button to reactivate the display.
5.2 Temperature Unit Selection (°C/°F)
Locate the "℃/℉" button on the main unit. Press this button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display units.
5.3 MAX/MIN Temperature Record
The thermometer records the maximum and minimum temperatures over two periods: "24HR" (last 24 hours) and "ALL TIME" (since last reset). Short press the "CLE" button to toggle between these two display modes for the MAX/MIN values.
To clear the recorded MAX/MIN values, press and hold the "CLE" button until the values reset.
5.4 Setting Temperature Alarms
The device features a programmable alarm function to alert you when temperatures fall outside a set range. The alarm has a 2-minute delay to prevent unnecessary alerts from brief temperature fluctuations.
- Press the "SET" button for the desired channel (Freezer or Refrigerator) to enter alarm setting mode.
- Use the up/down arrow buttons to adjust the upper and lower temperature limits for the alarm.
- Press "SET" again to confirm each limit and move to the next setting.
- Once set, the alarm icon will appear on the display.
- When the temperature exceeds or falls below the set limits for more than 2 minutes, the thermometer will emit an audible beep. The beeping will stop automatically after 2 minutes.
- Important Note: When used for the first time or after the alarm has been manually turned off, it needs to be manually activated again for the alarm function to take effect.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the main unit and sensors with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the devices in water.
6.2 Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries in the respective unit (main unit or sensor). Refer to Section 4.1 for battery installation instructions. Always use new AAA batteries.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Display on Main Unit:
- Check if 3 x AAA batteries are correctly installed with proper polarity.
- Replace with new batteries if necessary.
- Press any button to exit power-saving mode.
- No Temperature Reading from Sensors:
- Ensure 2 x AAA batteries are correctly installed in each sensor.
- Replace sensor batteries if needed.
- Verify that sensors are within the 80-meter wireless range of the main unit.
- Check for obstructions that might interfere with the wireless signal.
- Re-pair sensors by removing and reinserting batteries in both the main unit and sensors.
- Alarm Not Functioning:
- Ensure the alarm limits are correctly set (refer to Section 5.4).
- Remember to manually activate the alarm function after initial setup or if it was previously turned off.
- The alarm has a 2-minute delay before sounding; wait for this period.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure sensors are not placed directly next to cooling vents or heating elements, which can cause localized temperature variations.
- Compare readings with another known accurate thermometer.
- Replace batteries in both the main unit and sensors.
