5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your keyboard, regular cleaning is recommended:

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the keycaps and chassis. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • For debris between keys, use compressed air to blow out dust and particles.
  • Ensure the keyboard is completely dry before reconnecting it.

5.2 Battery Management

The G915 X TKL features a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. To maximize battery life:

  • Charge the keyboard using the provided USB-C cable. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.
  • The keyboard can provide up to 42 hours of continuous use on a single charge with default lighting.
  • Monitor battery status via the indicator light on the keyboard or through Logitech G HUB.
  • For extended periods of non-use, it is recommended to turn off the keyboard to conserve battery.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Logitech G915 X TKL keyboard, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Keyboard Not Responding:
Ensure the keyboard is powered on. Check the connection method (LIGHTSPEED, Bluetooth, or wired). For wireless, ensure the receiver is securely plugged in and within range. Try reconnecting or re-pairing the device.
  • Connectivity Issues (Lag/Disconnections):
Move the USB receiver closer to the keyboard, ideally using the included USB extender. Ensure there are no strong wireless interferences (e.g., other 2.4GHz devices, large metal objects) between the keyboard and receiver. Update keyboard firmware via G HUB.
  • RGB Lighting Not Working/Incorrect:
Verify that LIGHTSYNC RGB is enabled in G HUB. Check the brightness settings. Ensure G HUB is running and the keyboard profile is active.
  • Keys Not Registering or Double Typing:
Clean under the affected keycaps using compressed air. Ensure G HUB is updated to the latest version. If the issue persists, contact Logitech G support.
  • Battery Not Charging:
Ensure the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the keyboard and a working USB port on your computer or a power adapter. Try a different USB port or cable.
