4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your HOMCOM Fabric Wardrobe:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Identify all steel tubes, plastic connectors, and fabric pieces.
- Assemble the Base Frame: Connect the shortest steel tubes with plastic connectors to form the base rectangle of the wardrobe. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Install Vertical Supports: Insert longer vertical steel tubes into the plastic connectors of the base frame.
- Build Lower Shelves: As you build upwards, insert the fabric shelf sheets onto the steel tubes at the desired shelf levels. Secure them by connecting horizontal steel tubes with plastic connectors. Repeat for all lower shelves.
- Install Hanging Rail: At the designated height for the hanging section, insert the hanging rail steel tube into the appropriate plastic connectors.
- Complete Upper Frame: Continue building the frame upwards, adding vertical and horizontal tubes and shelves as per the design, until the full steel frame is complete.
- Attach Fabric Cover: Carefully drape the non-woven fabric cover over the assembled steel frame. Ensure the cover is aligned correctly, with the zippers and roll-up door facing the front.
- Secure Cover: Pull the fabric cover down over the frame, ensuring it fits snugly. The bottom edges of the cover should reach the base of the frame.

5. Operating Instructions
- Using the Hanging Rail: Place clothes hangers on the steel hanging rail for garments such as shirts, jackets, and dresses.
- Utilizing Shelves: Fold and place items like sweaters, t-shirts, bags, and bedding on the fabric shelves. Distribute weight evenly across shelves.
- Accessing Contents: The front fabric cover features a roll-up door. Unzip the door and roll it upwards, securing it with the hook-and-loop fasteners at the top for easy access.
- Protecting Contents: To protect items from dust, ensure the roll-up door is fully unrolled and zipped closed when not in use.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Fabric Cover: Wipe the non-woven fabric cover with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Allow to air dry completely.
- Cleaning the Frame: The steel frame can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Ensure it is dry to prevent rust.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all connections to ensure they remain secure. Tighten any loose connections.
- Weight Distribution: Always distribute weight evenly across shelves and the hanging rail to maintain stability and prevent damage.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Wardrobe is unstable or wobbly. | Loose connections; uneven surface; overloaded. | Ensure all steel tubes are fully inserted into connectors. Place on a level surface. Redistribute weight evenly, ensuring not to exceed capacity. |
| Fabric cover does not fit correctly. | Incorrect frame assembly; cover misaligned. | Review assembly steps to ensure the frame is built correctly. Realign the cover, ensuring the front opening is correctly positioned. |
| Zipper is stuck or broken. | Fabric caught in zipper; excessive force. | Gently pull fabric away from the zipper teeth. Avoid forcing the zipper. If broken, contact customer support for possible replacement parts. |
