Introduction

The EVICIV 18.5" Portable Monitor is a high-performance touchscreen display designed for versatility and portability. Featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, FreeSync, and HDR support, it delivers a smooth and vibrant visual experience. Its 1080P Full HD IPS panel with 100% sRGB color accuracy ensures stunning clarity and color reproduction. The monitor also includes VESA compatibility and a smart case for enhanced protection and flexible setup options, making it an ideal external display for laptops, gaming consoles, and other compatible devices.

Setup Guide

1. Power Connection

Connect the provided PD 30W Power Adapter to the monitor's Type-C power input port. Ensure the power adapter is plugged into a functional wall outlet.

2. Video and Touch Connections

The monitor supports various connection methods for video and touch functionality:

Laptop with Type-C (Single Cable Solution): If your laptop has a full-featured USB-C 3.1 port (supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode and power delivery), connect one of the provided Type-C to Type-C cables between your laptop and the monitor's USB-C port. This single cable can transmit both video signal and power, and enable touch functionality.
Laptop with HDMI: Connect the Mini HDMI cable from your laptop's HDMI port to the monitor's Mini HDMI port for video. For touch functionality, connect the USB-A to Type-C cable from your laptop's USB-A port to the monitor's Type-C port. Ensure the monitor is also powered via its dedicated power input.

Note: For optimal performance, it is recommended to connect the monitor to a power source during use, even with a single Type-C connection.

3. Using the Built-in Kickstand and VESA Mount

The monitor features a versatile built-in kickstand and VESA mounting holes for flexible placement.

Kickstand: The integrated kickstand allows for multiple viewing angles, from upright to almost flat, providing stability without external accessories.
VESA Mount: The monitor is equipped with standard 75x75mm VESA holes (M4 * 4mm) on the back. This allows you to mount the monitor on a wall mount or desk arm (sold separately) for a more permanent or ergonomic setup.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Menu Navigation

Locate the power button and menu navigation controls on the side of the monitor. Use these controls to turn the monitor on or off, and to access and navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu for settings adjustments.

2. Touchscreen Functionality

The monitor features a 10-point capacitive touch function for intuitive interaction.

Windows Compatibility: Fully compatible with Windows operating systems, supporting 10-point multi-touch gestures.
MacOS Compatibility: Supports 2-point touch for MacOS (primarily for web pages and images).
Other Devices: Touch functionality is not supported for iOS (iPhone/iPad), Nintendo Switch, Xbox, or PlayStation 5.

3. Display Settings and Features

120Hz Refresh Rate: Experience ultra-smooth visuals, especially beneficial for gaming, with the 120Hz refresh rate. This provides a faster response speed and more immersive experience.
FreeSync: The monitor supports FreeSync technology, which helps eliminate screen tearing and stuttering by synchronizing the monitor's refresh rate with your graphics card's frame rate. This is particularly useful for gaming.
HDR (High Dynamic Range): Enjoy enhanced contrast and color depth with HDR support, bringing out more detail in both bright and dark scenes.
Brightness and Color: The 400 Nits brightness and 100% sRGB color accuracy ensure vivid colors and sharp contrast. Adjust these settings via the OSD menu to suit your viewing preferences.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid using alcohol-based cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they may damage the glossy glass surface.
General Care: Keep the monitor away from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and high humidity. When not in use, store it in its smart case to protect it from dust and scratches.
Cable Management: Ensure cables are not kinked or strained to prevent damage to the ports or cables themselves.

Troubleshooting

Note: iOS, Switch, Xbox, PS5 do not support touch.
Flickering/Unstable display	Cable quality, refresh rate mismatch, power fluctuations.	Try a different video cable. Ensure the monitor is receiving stable power. Adjust the refresh rate in your device's display settings to match the monitor's capabilities (120Hz). Enable FreeSync if your graphics card supports it.
