3. Initial Synchronization
After battery installation, the clock hands will automatically move to the 12 o'clock position. The clock will then attempt to receive the DCF77 radio time signal. This process can take several minutes to an hour, depending on signal strength. Once the signal is received, the clock will automatically set itself to the correct time.
4. Mounting
The clock is designed for wall mounting. Use a suitable screw or hook (not included) in your desired location. Ensure the mounting point is secure enough to hold the clock's weight (approximately 673 grams).

Operation
Automatic Time Adjustment
Your Mebus 13080 clock is radio-controlled and will automatically adjust to the precise time, including changes for daylight saving time (summer/winter time). The clock regularly checks the DCF77 signal to maintain accuracy.
Signal Reception Tips
- Place the clock away from electronic devices that may cause interference (e.g., TVs, computers, microwaves).
- Optimal reception is usually near a window and away from large metal objects.
- Avoid placing the clock in basements or rooms with thick concrete walls, as this can hinder signal reception.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the clock, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish and internal components.
Battery Replacement
When the clock hands stop moving or the time becomes inaccurate, it is likely time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section to replace the AA battery. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
Troubleshooting
- Clock not setting time or displaying incorrect time:
- Ensure the battery is new and correctly installed.
- Move the clock to a different location, preferably near a window, to improve radio signal reception.
- Allow up to 24 hours for the clock to receive the signal and set itself, especially after initial setup or battery change. - Clock hands are stuck or not moving:
- Check if the battery needs replacement.
- Ensure there are no obstructions preventing the hands from moving freely. - Clock is making noise:
- This model features a silent movement. If you hear any noise, check for obstructions or contact support.
