1. Introduction

The Positive Grid Spark Live is a versatile 150-watt, 4-channel combo amplifier and PA system designed for musicians. It integrates advanced modeling technology with powerful sound projection, suitable for various instruments and vocals. This manual provides essential information for setup, operation, and maintenance.

If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
• Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

4. Product Overview

4.1 Front Panel Controls

The front panel features controls for each of the four channels, allowing for individual adjustment of gain, bass, mid, and treble. A master volume control is also present.

5. Setup

5.1 Powering On

1. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear panel.
2. Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
3. Press the POWER button on the front panel to turn on the Spark Live.
4. If using the optional rechargeable battery, ensure it is charged and properly installed. The unit can operate on battery power for up to eight hours.

5.2 Connecting Instruments and Microphones

• Channel 1 (Guitar): Connect your electric or acoustic-electric guitar to Input 1.
• Channel 2 (Vocals/Bass/Acoustic-Electric Guitar): Connect a microphone, bass guitar, or acoustic-electric guitar to Input 2.
• Channels 3/4 (Stereo Direct-Ins): Use these for keyboards, computer audio, or pedalboards.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Adjusting Sound

Use the GAIN, BASS, MID, and TREBLE knobs for each channel to shape your tone. The MASTER volume controls the overall output level.

6.2 Spark App Integration

The Spark Live integrates with the free Spark Companion app, offering extensive control over amp models, effects, and presets. Connect via Bluetooth for wireless control.
