Package Contents

Please ensure all items are present in the package:

• 1 x Sharper Image® LED Word Clock Pro
• 1 x USB-C Cable

Note: A USB power adapter (brick) is not included and must be supplied by the user (DC 5V 1A recommended).

Setup

1. Power Connection: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the clock's power input port. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) and then into a wall outlet. The clock will illuminate.
2. Battery Backup (Optional): For time retention during power outages, insert 2 x AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the back of the clock. Note that the display will not illuminate when running on battery power alone.
3. Placement: Place the clock on a flat, stable surface such as a desk or nightstand. Alternatively, use the integrated keyhole slot on the back to mount the clock securely on a wall.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Time:

   Locate the '+' and '-' buttons on the side or back of the clock. Press the '+' button to advance the time in 5-minute increments. Press the '-' button to decrease the time in 5-minute increments. Continue pressing until the correct time is displayed. The clock updates in 5-minute intervals.

2. Adjusting Brightness (Dimmable Light):

   The clock features multiple brightness levels. The brightness adjustment button is typically located near the time setting buttons, sometimes behind the battery door. Press this button repeatedly to cycle through the available brightness settings until your desired illumination is achieved.

3. Red 5-Minute Alert:

   Five minutes before each hour, the words indicating the time will illuminate in red to provide an advanced alert. For example, at 5:55, the clock will display "IT IS FIVE MINUTES TO SIX" with "FIVE MINUTES" in red.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface of the clock. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
• Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, disconnect it from the power source and remove any batteries. Store in a cool, dry place.
