This shed is designed for outdoor storage of various items, offering durability and weather resistance.
2. Safety Information
- Always follow the provided instructions for assembly and installation.
- Wear gloves during assembly to protect your hands.
- Check local Homeowners Association (HOA) policies to ensure compliance before installation.
- Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 265 pounds for the roof.
- Keep the shed away from heat sources and open flames.
- Ensure the shed is placed on a stable and level foundation.
3. Package Contents
Your Patiowell storage shed comes in one box with all necessary hardware. Please verify all parts are present and undamaged before starting assembly. A pair of gloves is included for hand protection during assembly.
4. Setup and Assembly
The Patiowell 4x4 shed features a one-piece panel plug-in construction designed for simplified assembly. While it can be assembled by one person, having two people is recommended for ease and efficiency. An electric drill and hammer will be useful for certain steps.
4.1 Floor Assembly
Connect the floor panels (A1, A2) as indicated in the instructions. Secure them using SC5x14 screws. Ensure all connections are tight for a stable foundation.

4.2 Wall Panel Installation
Attach the wall panels (B1, B2, B3, B4, B5) to the assembled floor, ensuring they slot securely into the base. The wall panel with the window (B3) should be placed as per the manual. Use SC5x14 screws to fasten the panels to the floor and to each other where indicated.

4.3 Roof Assembly
Assemble the roof components (C1-C7, F1-F6) according to the diagrams. The roof panels (F1, F2, F3) are designed to interlock and provide weather protection. Secure the roof structure to the top of the wall panels using SC5x14 and SC5x30 screws as specified.

4.4 Door Installation
Assemble the door panel (D1) with its frame and hinges (D1-1, D1-2, D1-3, D1-4). Attach the assembled door to the shed structure using SC4x30 screws for the hinges and SC5x30 screws for the handle and latch components. Ensure the door opens and closes smoothly and the latch functions correctly.
5. Operating Instructions
To open the shed, unlatch the door by sliding the bolt. To close, simply push the door shut and slide the bolt into place. A padlock (not included) can be added to the latch for enhanced security.
6. Maintenance
- Clean the shed periodically with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Inspect all screws and connections annually to ensure they remain tight.
- Clear any debris or snow from the roof to prevent excessive weight accumulation.
- Ensure the ventilation vents remain unobstructed for proper air circulation.
7. Troubleshooting
- Difficulty during assembly: Ensure all panels are correctly aligned and that the plastic protective film has been removed from all parts before assembly. Refer to the video instructions for visual guidance.
- Water leakage: Verify that all roof panels are properly interlocked and secured, and that the shed is placed on a level surface. Check for any gaps in the wall connections.
- Door not closing properly: Check for obstructions in the door frame or hinges. Ensure the shed is on a level foundation, as uneven ground can affect door alignment.
