3. Package Contents
Your Sapgaks Upholstered Bed is shipped in two packages. Please ensure all components are present before beginning assembly. If any parts are missing, refer to the Troubleshooting section.

4. Assembly Instructions
Assembly of the Sapgaks Upholstered Bed requires two people. All parts are labeled, and necessary tools are included. The reading lamp is pre-assembled to simplify the process.
- Unpack Components: Carefully unpack all parts from the two cartons. Verify that all listed components are present.
- Assemble Bed Frame: Follow the detailed diagrams in the included assembly guide to connect the side rails and footboard to the headboard. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Install Slatted Base: Position the slatted bed base within the frame. The gas lift mechanism should be correctly aligned for smooth operation.
- Secure Mattress Stoppers: Attach the two mattress stoppers at the foot of the bed to prevent the mattress from sliding.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet and connect it to the designated port on the headboard to activate the reading lamp and charging ports.
- Install Dust Cover: Secure the Oxford cloth dust cover to the bottom of the storage compartment to protect stored items from dust.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Reading Lamp
The integrated reading lamp is designed for comfortable illumination without disturbing others. It features a toggle switch for easy operation. To use:
- Ensure the bed's power adapter is connected to a power source.
- Locate the toggle switch on the reading lamp.
- Flip the switch to turn the lamp ON or OFF.
- Adjust the lamp's direction as needed for optimal reading light.
5.2. USB & Type C Charging Ports
The headboard includes two USB and two Type C charging ports for convenient device charging.
- Ensure the bed's power adapter is connected to a power source.
- Connect your electronic devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets) to the appropriate USB or Type C port using their respective charging cables.
- Charging will begin automatically.
5.3. Under-Bed Storage
The bed features a large under-bed storage compartment, easily accessible via a gas lift mechanism.
- To open the storage: Grasp the fabric pull handle located at the foot of the bed. Gently lift the bed base upwards. The gas lift mechanism will assist in raising and holding the base in an open position.
- To close the storage: Carefully push the bed base downwards until it fully closes and latches securely.
- The Oxford cloth liner at the bottom of the storage compartment helps protect items from dust.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
- Upholstery: For general cleaning, gently vacuum the cotton upholstery to remove dust and debris. For spills, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Frame: Wipe the steel frame with a soft, dry cloth.
- Storage Compartment: Regularly clean the interior of the storage compartment and the Oxford cloth dust cover to prevent dust accumulation.
6.2. General Care
- Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary.
- Do not drag the bed when moving it; always lift it to prevent damage to the frame or floor.
- Ensure the weight distributed on the bed does not exceed the maximum capacity of 300 kg (660 lbs).
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. Missing Parts
The bed frame is shipped in two cartons, which may arrive on different days. If both packages have arrived and you find that parts are missing, please contact customer service immediately with your purchase details and a list of the missing components.
7.2. Mattress Sliding
The bed is equipped with two stoppers at the foot end to prevent the mattress from sliding. Ensure these stoppers are correctly installed and securely fastened. If the mattress still slides, verify that the mattress size is compatible with the bed frame (180x200 cm).
7.3. Reading Lamp or Charging Ports Not Working
- Check that the power adapter is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet.
- Ensure the power cable from the adapter is correctly connected to the port on the headboard.
- For the reading lamp, verify the toggle switch is in the ON position.
- Test the charging ports with a different device and cable to rule out device or cable issues.
