3. Safety Information

• Always use this parallel charging board with a compatible LiPo battery charger.
• Ensure all batteries connected for parallel charging have the same cell count (e.g., all 3S, all 4S) and are at a similar voltage level. Charging batteries with different cell counts or significantly different voltages in parallel can be dangerous.
• Never exceed the maximum input current of 40A or the maximum output current of 30A per port.
• Do not charge damaged, swollen, or punctured batteries.
• Always charge batteries in a fire-safe area, away from flammable materials.
• Supervise the charging process at all times.
• Keep the device away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
• This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.

4. Setup

1. Connect to Charger: Connect the main XT60 charging cable (included) from the ISDT PC-4860S board's input port to the output port of your compatible LiPo battery charger.
2. Connect Balance Cable: Connect the 6S balance cable (included) from the balance port on the ISDT PC-4860S board to the balance port on your charger. If charging batteries with a cell count less than 6S, ensure your charger's balance port is compatible or use an appropriate adapter (not included).
3. Prepare Batteries: Ensure all batteries you intend to charge in parallel have the same cell count (e.g., all 3S, all 4S) and are at a similar voltage.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe parallel charging:

1. Connect Batteries: Connect up to four LiPo batteries to the XT60 output ports on the ISDT PC-4860S board. Ensure each battery's main power lead (XT60) and balance lead are correctly connected to the corresponding ports on the parallel board.
2. Set Charger Parameters: On your LiPo battery charger, set the charging parameters for the total capacity of all connected batteries. For example, if you are charging four 2200mAh 3S batteries, set your charger to charge a single 3S battery at 8800mAh (4 x 2200mAh).
3. Start Charging: Initiate the charging process on your LiPo charger. Monitor the charging progress and battery conditions closely.
4. Disconnect Batteries: Once charging is complete, first stop the charging process on your charger. Then, disconnect the batteries from the parallel board, starting with the balance leads, then the main power leads. Finally, disconnect the parallel board from the charger.

Important: Always connect the main power leads and balance leads of the batteries to the parallel board before starting the charger. Disconnect the batteries from the parallel board before disconnecting the parallel board from the charger.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the surface of the parallel board. Do not use liquids or solvents.
• Storage: Store the board in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture when not in use.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the XT60 connectors and balance ports for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Ensure all cables are in good condition.
