2. Product Components

3. Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the HOMCOM Rocking Chaise Lounge requires careful attention to detail. It is recommended to have two people for assembly to ensure proper alignment and stability.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface. Check against the parts list provided in your package.
- Assemble Frame: Follow the step-by-step diagrams in your physical instruction booklet to connect the wooden frame pieces. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened, but do not overtighten until all frame pieces are aligned.
- Attach Cushioning: Once the frame is assembled, attach the main cushion and headrest. Ensure the headrest is properly positioned for comfort.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, go back and fully tighten all screws and bolts.
- Stability Check: Before use, gently rock the chair and apply light pressure to ensure it is stable and all connections are secure.

4. Operating Instructions
The HOMCOM Rocking Chaise Lounge is designed for comfortable relaxation with adjustable features.
4.1 Rocking Function
The chair features a gently curved birch wood frame that allows for a smooth rocking motion. To rock, simply lean back and gently push off with your feet. Maintain a controlled motion to prevent tipping.

4.2 Adjustable Legrest
The legrest offers five levels of adjustment to suit your comfort preference. To adjust, lift the legrest to disengage the locking mechanism, then position it to your desired angle and release to lock it in place. Ensure the legrest is securely locked before applying full weight.

4.3 Side Pocket
A convenient side pocket is integrated into the armrest for storing small items such as remote controls, books, or magazines, keeping them within easy reach while you relax.

5. Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your rocking chaise lounge.
- General Cleaning: Wipe the wooden frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Cushion Care: The chenille fabric cushion cover is removable and washable. To remove, locate the zipper (Figure 5.1) and carefully detach the cover. Follow the care instructions on the fabric label for washing. Allow to air dry completely before reattaching.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight. Retighten as necessary.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading of the fabric and damage to the wood.

6. Troubleshooting

- Instability/Wobbling: Ensure all assembly screws and bolts are fully tightened. Check that the chair is placed on a flat, even surface.
- Difficulty with Rocking: Verify that the rocking base is clear of obstructions and that the chair is on a smooth surface.
- Legrest Not Holding Position: Check that the adjustment mechanism is clean and free of debris, and that it is fully engaged in one of the five locking positions.
- Squeaking Noises: Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to any moving parts or joints in the wooden frame if squeaking occurs.
