Setup and Assembly

1. Unfolding the Chassis:

   Release the folding lock. Lift the handle upwards until the chassis locks into place. Ensure both sides are securely locked.

2. Attaching the Wheels:

   Insert the front wheels into their respective slots until they click. Attach the rear wheels by pressing the release button and sliding them onto the axle until they lock.

3. Mounting the Seat Unit:

   Align the seat unit with the chassis connectors. Press down firmly until it clicks into place. The seat unit can be mounted in either forward-facing or parent-facing directions.

4. Converting to Bassinet Mode (if not already):

   If the seat unit is in sports seat mode, adjust the backrest and footrest to a flat position. Secure the side straps to form the bassinet shape. Refer to the operating section for detailed conversion steps.

5. Attaching Accessories:

   Attach the foot cover, mosquito net, and diaper bag as desired. The cup holder can be clipped onto the handle.

Operating Instructions

1. Converting Between Bassinet and Sports Seat

The Moni Rio features a convertible seat unit that transforms from a bassinet for newborns to a sports seat for older children.

1. From Bassinet to Sports Seat:

   Release the side straps that hold the bassinet shape. Adjust the backrest to an upright or reclined position using the lever at the back of the seat. Adjust the footrest to the desired angle.

2. From Sports Seat to Bassinet:

   Recline the backrest to the fully flat position. Adjust the footrest to be horizontal. Fasten the side straps to create the enclosed bassinet shape.

2. Adjusting the Seat Unit

• Backrest Adjustment: Locate the lever at the back of the seat unit. Squeeze the lever and adjust the backrest to one of the three available positions.
• Footrest Adjustment: Press the buttons on either side of the footrest and move it to the desired angle.
• Reversible Seat: To reverse the seat direction, press the release buttons on both sides of the seat unit where it connects to the chassis. Lift the seat, turn it 180 degrees, and re-attach until it clicks securely.

3. Using the 5-Point Harness

Always secure your child with the 5-point harness.

1. Place your child in the seat.
2. Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and the waist straps around their hips.
3. Insert the two buckle prongs into the central buckle until they click.
4. Adjust the straps for a snug, secure fit, ensuring no more than two fingers can fit between the strap and your child.
5. To release, press the button on the central buckle.

4. Folding the Stroller

The Moni Rio stroller is designed for compact folding.

1. Ensure the seat unit is in the forward-facing position and the backrest is upright or slightly reclined.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Locate the folding mechanisms on the handle or chassis (refer to specific markings on your stroller).
4. Follow the sequence to collapse the chassis and seat unit simultaneously until it locks into its folded position.

5. Using the Brakes

The stroller features a connection brake on the rear wheels.

• To engage the brake, press down firmly on the brake pedal located between the rear wheels.
• To release the brake, lift the pedal upwards.
• Always ensure the brake is fully engaged when the stroller is stationary.

6. Swivel Front Wheels

The front wheels can swivel 360 degrees for maneuverability or be locked for straight-line travel.

• To unlock for swivel, lift the lever above each front wheel.
• To lock for straight travel, push the lever down.

Maintenance and Care
