Operating Your Traxxas Bigfoot Monster Truck
Powering On
First, turn on the transmitter. Then, turn on the vehicle's power switch. Always power on the transmitter before the vehicle and power off the vehicle before the transmitter.
Basic Controls
- Steering: Use the steering wheel on the transmitter to control left and right turns.
- Throttle: Use the trigger on the transmitter for forward and reverse movement. Pull the trigger for forward, push for reverse/brake.
Driving Tips
- Start with slow speeds to familiarize yourself with the controls before attempting high-speed maneuvers.
- Avoid operating in deep water or extreme mud, despite waterproof electronics, to prevent damage to mechanical components and reduce cleaning effort.
- Perform regular checks for loose screws or damaged parts after each run, especially after impactful driving.
- Always operate your RC vehicle in a safe, open area away from people, pets, and obstacles.

Maintenance
General Cleaning
After each use, clean dirt and debris from the chassis, suspension, and wheels. A soft brush or compressed air can be used. Avoid using water directly on electronics unless specifically designed for it, even with waterproof components, to prolong their lifespan.
Suspension Inspection
Regularly inspect the Extreme Heavy Duty suspension components for wear or damage. Ensure all shocks are functioning correctly and are free from leaks. Check for bent or broken suspension arms.

- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not overcharge or over-discharge batteries. Follow the charger's instructions carefully.
Motor and Electronic Speed Control (ESC)
Keep the motor and ESC free from debris. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating, which can lead to performance degradation or damage. Periodically check motor connections for tightness.
