5. Setup

5.1. Initial Power On

1. Press and hold the Power button located on the top of the device until the screen illuminates.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language and connect to a Wi-Fi network.

5.2. Charging the Device

Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the device's USB-C port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.

5.3. Expanding Storage (MicroSD Card)

The device supports microSD cards up to 2TB. Locate the microSD card slot on the side of the player. Insert the card gently until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card inward until it springs out.

5.4. Transferring Music Files

Connect the HiBy R6 Gen3 to your computer using the USB Type-C cable. The device will appear as a removable storage device. Drag and drop your music files into the internal storage or the inserted microSD card. The player supports various audio formats including MP3, FLAC, WAV, DSD, and MQA.

6. Operating the Device

6.1. Basic Navigation

The HiBy R6 Gen3 runs on Android 12, offering a familiar touchscreen interface. Swipe to navigate between screens, tap to select items, and use the physical buttons for media control.

6.2. Connecting Headphones

Insert your headphones into the appropriate 3.5mm (unbalanced) or 4.4mm (balanced) headphone output jack at the bottom of the device. Ensure the connection is secure.

6.3. Bluetooth Connectivity

1. Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth.
2. Toggle Bluetooth ON.
3. Select "Pair new device" and choose your Bluetooth headphones or speaker from the list.
4. The device supports high-quality Bluetooth codecs like LDAC, aptX, aptX HD, SBC, and AAC.

6.4. Wi-Fi Connectivity
