Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the iron and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Check Voltage: The iron automatically adjusts to dual voltage (110V-127V or 220V-240V). Ensure the correct plug adapter is used for your region if necessary.
3. Fill Water Tank (for Steam Ironing):
   • Ensure the iron is unplugged and cool.
   • Locate the water inlet cap on the top of the iron.
   • Open the cap and use the provided measuring cup to fill the water tank with distilled water up to the MAX line. Do not overfill.
   • Close the water inlet cap securely.
4. Positioning: Place the iron on a heat-resistant surface, such as an ironing board or the included silicone mat.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Plug the iron into an appropriate electrical outlet. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the iron is heating up.
2. Select Temperature: Once the indicator light turns off (approximately 40 seconds), the iron has reached the desired temperature. Rotate the temperature control dial to select the appropriate heat setting for your fabric type (e.g., linen, cotton, silk, wool).
3. Choose Ironing Mode:
   • Dry Ironing: Ensure the steam switch is in the 'off' position.
   • Steam Ironing: Ensure the steam switch is in the 'on' position. The iron will produce continuous steam through its 5 steam outlets.
4. Ironing: Gently glide the non-stick soleplate over your fabric. For best results, iron in smooth, continuous strokes.
5. Vertical Steaming: The iron can also be used for vertical steaming to refresh hanging garments. Hold the iron upright and direct the steam towards the fabric.
6. Power Off: When finished, switch the steam to 'off' (if used), unplug the iron from the outlet, and allow it to cool completely before storing.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Soleplate: After the iron has cooled, wipe the non-stick soleplate with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
2. Emptying Water Tank: After each steam ironing session, ensure the water tank is emptied to prevent mineral buildup.
3. Storage: Allow the iron to cool completely. Wrap the 6-foot power cord neatly around the base for compact storage. Store in a dry, safe place.

Troubleshooting

• Iron not heating: Ensure the iron is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check the voltage selector switch on the back of the iron to ensure it matches your region's voltage.
• No steam production: Check if the water tank is filled with water. Ensure the steam switch is in the 'on' position. The iron must be hot enough for steam to be generated.
• Water leakage: Ensure the water tank cap is securely closed. Avoid overfilling the water tank.
