3. Setup

Initial Charging:

Before first use, fully charge the padlock using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the cable to the micro USB port at the bottom of the padlock and to a standard USB power source. The indicator light will show charging status.

App Download and Pairing:

1. Scan the QR code in the user manual (included in the box) to download the eLinkSmart app.
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device. The padlock's indicator light will flash blue when ready for pairing.
4. Once paired, you can manage the padlock settings and users through the app.

Fingerprint Registration:

Fingerprints must be registered via the eLinkSmart app. Only admin fingerprints can reset or manage other fingerprints.

1. In the app, navigate to 'Fingerprint Management'.
2. Select 'Add Fingerprint' and follow the prompts.
3. Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor multiple times, adjusting the angle slightly with each press, until the app confirms successful registration.
4. The padlock can store up to 20 different fingerprints, including 2 admin fingerprints.

4. Operating Instructions

Unlocking with Fingerprint:

Place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The padlock will unlock in approximately 0.1 seconds if the fingerprint is recognized.

Unlocking with App:

Charging:

A full charge typically takes about 40 minutes and provides up to 6 months of standby time or over 2000 unlocks.

Cleaning:
