Setup
1. Charging the Keyboard
Before first use, fully charge the keyboard. Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the keyboard's charging port and the other end to a USB power source. The charging indicator light will turn green when fully charged. A full charge provides up to 150+ days of standby time.
2. Powering On/Off
To power on the keyboard, unfold it. To power off, fold it closed. The keyboard also features an auto-sleep feature to conserve battery life when not in use.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Unfold the keyboard to power it on.
- On your device (iPad, iPhone, smartphone, tablet, or laptop), enable Bluetooth.
- Press the Fn key simultaneously with one of the Bluetooth channel keys (Q, W, or E) to select a pairing channel. The corresponding indicator light on the right side of the keyboard will flash blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your device, search for "ProtoArc XK04" in the Bluetooth device list and select it to connect.
- Once connected, the indicator light for the selected channel will turn solid blue.
The keyboard can store up to 3 paired devices. To switch between devices, simply press Fn + Q, Fn + W, or Fn + E corresponding to the desired device's channel.

Keyboard Layout and Usage
The ProtoArc XK04 features a compact layout. For optimal typing, ensure the keyboard is placed on a flat, stable surface. While smaller than a full-sized keyboard, it offers a comfortable typing experience for mobile use.

Shortcut Keys User-Guide
The keyboard includes various shortcut keys for enhanced productivity:
- Directly press the Esc button to get a "`" (backtick).
- Directly press F1~F10 to get numbers 1~0.
- Press Fn + Esc & F1 ~ F12 to achieve multimedia functions (e.g., access homepage, brightness, volume).
- Press Shift + Esc & F1 ~ F12 corresponding keys to get symbols.
- Press Fn + Shift + Esc & F1 ~ F12 corresponding keys to achieve Esc and FN functions.
Note: This portable keyboard is not designed to function as a general office full-size keyboard.

Cleaning
To clean the keyboard, gently wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure the keyboard is powered off and disconnected from any power source before cleaning.
Battery Care
To maximize battery lifespan, avoid exposing the keyboard to extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% before storage and recharge every few months.
