- This fireplace is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the fireplace is left operating and unattended.
- The unit is equipped with an overheat protection switch that automatically cuts off power at high temperatures, along with a fuse for added safety.

Setup and Installation
This electric fireplace insert is designed for recessed installation into furniture such as TV stands, sideboards, or bookshelves. Ensure the furniture has an opening that matches the recommended dimensions for proper fit and ventilation.
Measuring Opening Dimensions:

- Measure Height: Use a measuring tape to determine the height of the opening from the bottom to the top.
- Measure Width: Use a measuring tape to determine the width of the opening from the left side to the right side.
- The recommended opening dimensions are approximately W 26 3/16" x H 17 5/8".
Installation Steps:
- Carefully unpack the fireplace insert and all components. Verify that all included components (fireplace unit, remote control, screws, manual) are present.
- Position the furniture where the fireplace will be installed. Ensure there is adequate space for ventilation around the unit.
- Slide the electric fireplace insert into the prepared opening in your furniture. The unit is typically installed from the back of the furniture.
- Secure the fireplace insert using the provided screws, if applicable, to prevent movement.
- Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.

Operating Instructions
The Innoflame Electric Fireplace Insert can be operated using the included remote control or the control buttons located on the unit.
Remote Control and Control Panel:

Functions:
- Power On/Off: Press the power button on the remote or control panel to turn the unit on or off.
- Flame Brightness Adjustment: The fireplace features 4 adjustable flame brightness levels (L1, L2, L3, L4). Use the flame button on the remote or control panel to cycle through the brightness settings.

- Temperature Setting: Adjust the desired room temperature using the thermostat controls. The temperature can be set between 64°F and 82°F. The unit will automatically turn the heater on or off to maintain the set temperature.
- Timer Function: Set the operating time for the fireplace from 1 to 8 hours using the timer button. The unit will automatically shut off after the set time has elapsed.
- Flame Only Mode: The flame effect can be operated independently without the heater function, providing ambiance without heat.
- Flame and Heat Mode: Both the flame effect and heater can be operated simultaneously to provide both visual appeal and warmth.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your electric fireplace insert.
- Cleaning: Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the air intake and exhaust vents are clear of any obstructions to maintain proper airflow and prevent overheating.
- Light Bulbs: The flame effect uses LED technology, which typically does not require replacement. If issues arise, consult the troubleshooting section or contact customer support.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your electric fireplace insert, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Unit does not turn on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded outlet.
- Verify that the wall outlet is functioning by plugging in another appliance.
- Ensure the main power switch on the unit (if present) is in the 'ON' position.
- Check the remote control batteries and replace if necessary.
- No heat output:
- Confirm that the heater function is activated (not in flame-only mode).
- Check the thermostat setting; ensure it is set higher than the current room temperature.
- Ensure air vents are not blocked. The overheat protection may have activated. Unplug the unit, wait 10-15 minutes, and plug it back in.
- Flame effect is not working:
- Ensure the unit is powered on.
- Adjust the flame brightness setting.
- Remote control not working:
- Replace the batteries (2 AAA batteries required).
