Button Functions:

• Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to turn the speaker ON/OFF.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your HydraWAVE speaker. Use the provided USB-C charging cable and connect it to a standard USB power adapter (not included).

• Connect the USB-C end of the cable to the speaker's charging port.
• Connect the USB-A end to a USB wall adapter or computer USB port.
• The charging indicator light will illuminate.
• Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off.
• A full charge provides up to 12 hours of playtime.

4.2 Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see the indicator light illuminate.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt or the indicator light turns off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your HydraWAVE speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device:

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and within 100 feet of your device.
2. The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode upon power-on if not already connected. The pairing indicator light will flash.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
4. Search for "Altec Lansing HydraWAVE" in the list of available devices.
5. Select "Altec Lansing HydraWAVE" to connect.
6. Once successfully paired, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the indicator light will become solid.

5.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

You can pair two HydraWAVE speakers together for an immersive stereo sound experience.

1. Ensure both HydraWAVE speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth devices.
2. On one speaker, press and hold the Pairing button (Ⓑ) until it enters TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other.
4. Once connected, one speaker will act as the primary (left channel) and the other as the secondary (right channel).
5. Now, connect your device to the primary HydraWAVE speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 5.1.

5.3 Volume Control

• Increase Volume: Press the Volume Up button (+).
• Decrease Volume: Press the Volume Down button (-).

5.4 Voice Assistant

To activate your connected device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant):

• Press the Voice Assistant button (🎤).
• Speak your command clearly into the speaker's built-in microphone.

5.5 Waterproof and Floatable Features (IP67)

The HydraWAVE speaker is designed to be waterproof (IP67 rated) and can float in water. This makes it ideal for use near pools, beaches, or during water activities.

• Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
• The speaker can be submerged in water up to 1 meter (3.3 feet) for up to 30 minutes.
• After exposure to water, wipe the speaker dry with a soft cloth before charging.

5.6 Mounting and Clipping

Utilize the included carabiner clip, speaker mount, and bungee cord for versatile placement.

• Carabiner Clip: Attach the carabiner to the speaker's integrated loops to clip it onto backpacks, belt loops, or other gear.
• Speaker Mount: Use the speaker mount to attach the HydraWAVE to handlebars (e.g., bicycle, ATV) or other poles. Secure the speaker to the mount, then fasten the mount to your desired location.
• Bungee Cord: The bungee cord can be used to secure the speaker to various objects, such as boat railings, tent poles, or tree branches.

6.1 Cleaning

• Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth.
