Setup

1. Unpack all components: electric skillet, glass lid, and temperature control probe.
2. Wash the skillet and lid with warm, soapy water before first use. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
3. Insert the temperature control probe firmly into the receptacle on the side of the skillet.
4. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Temperature Control

The skillet features a single knob for temperature adjustment. Turn the knob to select your desired heat setting (Low, Medium, High). An indicator light will illuminate when the heating element is active and turn off once the set temperature is reached.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Always unplug the temperature control probe from the skillet and the electrical outlet before cleaning.
2. Allow the skillet to cool completely.
3. The skillet and glass lid are dishwasher safe once the temperature control probe is removed.
4. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the nonstick coating.
5. Wipe the exterior of the skillet with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the entire skillet base in water.
6. Store the skillet in a dry place.

Troubleshooting

• Skillet not heating: Ensure the temperature control probe is fully inserted into the skillet and the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check if the indicator light is on.
• Food sticking: Although the skillet has a nonstick coating, using a small amount of cooking oil or butter can further enhance food release, especially for certain recipes. Ensure the skillet is preheated to the correct temperature.
• Uneven heating: The skillet is designed for even heat distribution. If you experience uneven heating, ensure the skillet is on a flat, stable surface and the temperature probe is correctly inserted.
• Physical damage: If any part of the product, such as handles, appears damaged upon arrival or during use, discontinue use and contact customer support.
