5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your SpeedMaster X2:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the steering wheel, pedals, and shifter. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the device in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect all cables to prevent strain.
  • Cable Management: Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cables. Store cables neatly to prevent damage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Genius SpeedMaster X2, refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Power/Recognition:
    • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the steering wheel and the console/PC.
    • Try a different USB port.

    • Recalibrate the steering wheel by disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable.
    • Check in-game control settings and re-map buttons if necessary.
