1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your MekedeTech DUDUAUTO DUDU7 Car Multimedia Head Unit Player. 3. Setup Instructions

Careful installation is crucial for optimal performance. If your car has a Harmon Sound System, an additional power cable with CANBUS is required (ASIN B0CTJRJVMQ).

3.1 Wiring and Connections

Follow these steps to connect the head unit:

  1. GPS Antenna: Insert the GPS antenna and tighten the screws. Tear off the paper and stick the GPS antenna under the front windshield for optimal signal reception.
  2. Camera Input Cable: Insert the camera input cable into the designated port on the head unit.
  3. USB Cables: Insert the 6-pin USB cable and the 4-pin USB harness into their respective ports.
  4. RCA Cable: Insert the RCA cable into the head unit.
  5. CANBUS Box: Connect the main wiring harness into the CANBUS box. Then, plug the 8-pin CANBUS plug into the port on the head unit.
  6. Power Cord: Plug the power cord into the port on the head unit.
  7. Radio Adapter Cable: Insert the radio adapter cable.
  8. AUX Jack (if applicable): If your original car has an AUX jack, connect the AUX L/R from your car to the AUX IN L/R in the RCA harness.
  9. OEM Camera (if applicable): If your vehicle has an OEM camera, select one of the four provided adapters that matches your car's port. Connect the yellow video signal cable from the chosen adapter to the "Camera Input" line.
