Setup
1. Speaker Placement
Place the speakers on a stable, flat surface. For optimal stereo imaging, position the speakers equidistant from your listening position, forming an equilateral triangle. Ensure there is adequate space behind the speakers for ventilation and cable connections.
2. Connecting the Speakers
Connect the passive speaker to the active speaker using the provided speaker connection cable. Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on both speakers are matched correctly.

3. Connecting Audio Sources
The MR3 speakers offer multiple connectivity options:
- RCA Input: Use the provided 3.5mm to RCA cable to connect devices with RCA outputs (e.g., turntables, audio interfaces).
- AUX Input: Use the 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable for devices with a 3.5mm audio jack (e.g., smartphones, computers). This port is conveniently located on the front of the active speaker.

4. Power Connection
Connect the power cable to the active speaker and then plug it into a wall outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.
Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off and Volume Control
The multi-function rotary knob on the front of the active speaker controls power and volume:
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the knob for 3 seconds to turn the speakers on or off.
- Volume Adjustment: Rotate the knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.
2. Input Selection
Press the multi-function knob briefly to cycle through the available input modes: Bluetooth, AUX, and RCA/TRS. The indicator light will change color to indicate the selected input.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Switch the speaker input to Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for "EDIFIER MR3".
- Select "EDIFIER MR3" to connect. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will glow steadily.
- To disconnect or clear pairing, press and hold the multi-function knob while in Bluetooth mode until the light flashes rapidly again.
4. Sound Modes and Acoustic Tuning
The MR3 speakers offer selectable sound modes (Studio or Music) and advanced acoustic tuning options to optimize sound for your environment. These settings can be adjusted via the EDIFIER Connex mobile application.

5. Headphone Output
A 3.5mm headphone jack is located on the front of the active speaker. Plugging in headphones will mute the speakers, allowing for private listening.
