3. Setup

3.1 Speaker Placement

For optimal sound performance, place the speakers on a stable, flat surface, ideally at ear level when seated. Ensure there is adequate space around the speakers for proper ventilation.

3.2 Connecting the Speakers

  1. Connect the active speaker (with controls) to the passive speaker using the provided speaker connection cable. Ensure the polarity is correct (red to red, black to black).
  2. Connect the power cable to the active speaker and then to a power outlet.

3.3 Audio Input Connections

The S880DB MKII offers multiple input options:

  • Bluetooth: For wireless connection to smartphones, tablets, or computers.
  • Optical: For connecting to TVs, game consoles, or other digital audio sources.
  • Coaxial: For connecting to digital audio sources with coaxial output.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

4.4 Bluetooth Pairing

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Dust: Regularly dust the speaker grilles and cabinet to prevent accumulation.
  • Environment: Avoid placing speakers in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in areas with high humidity.

6. Troubleshooting
