1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Volam 7'' HD Wireless Carplay Screen. 4. Setup & Installation

Follow these steps to properly set up and install your Volam Carplay Screen:

  1. Prepare the Mounting Surface: Choose a clean, flat surface on your dashboard or windshield.
  2. Fix the Suction Cup Base: Place the suction cup base on the chosen surface. For optimal adhesion, it is recommended to fix the patch on the dashboard and leave it for 10 hours before attaching the suction cup.
  3. Attach the Suction Cup Mount: Peel the film from the suction cup and press the bar to lock it securely onto the base or directly onto the surface.
  4. Install the Device: Attach the Carplay screen to the mount. Adjust the angle for optimal viewing and lock the screw to secure its position.
  5. Power Connection: Connect the provided car charger TYPE-C cable to the screen and plug it into your vehicle's 12-36V cigarette lighter socket.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. General Operation Overview

The Volam Carplay Screen features an intuitive touchscreen interface. You can navigate through applications, adjust settings, and control media playback directly on the screen. The video below demonstrates basic navigation and audio output selection.

5.2. Wireless Apple CarPlay Connection

To connect your iPhone to the Carplay screen wirelessly:

  1. On the Carplay screen, choose the Apple CarPlay option.
  2. On your iPhone, turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
  3. Find the Bluetooth signal name of the Carplay screen in your mobile phone's Bluetooth list and tap to connect. Confirm the pairing request.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the connection to succeed.

5.3. Wireless Android Auto Connection

To connect your Android phone to the Carplay screen wirelessly:

  1. On the Carplay screen, choose the Android Auto option.
  2. On your Android phone, turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
  3. Find the Bluetooth signal name of the car stereo screen in your mobile phone's Bluetooth list and tap to connect.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the connection to succeed.

5.4. Mirror Link (Super Link & Airplay)
