5.5 Globefish Technology for Optimal Sealing

The Bonsenkitchen VS4100 incorporates patented Globefish Technology to enhance vacuuming and sealing performance.

Figure 6: Globefish Technology for 100% Vacuuming. This diagram compares traditional vacuuming, which can flatten bag ridges and block air extraction, with Bonsenkitchen's technology that ensures a clear vacuum channel.

This technology ensures that the airbag sealing strip contracts without pressing against the bag during vacuuming, maintaining a clear channel for air extraction. This prevents blockages and ensures thorough air removal.

Figure 7: Globefish Technology for Perfect Sealing. This diagram illustrates how the airbag sealing strip expands after vacuuming to apply over twice the pressure of traditional vacuum sealers, resulting in a tighter and more even seal.

Furthermore, the airbag sealing strip expands after vacuuming, applying significantly more pressure than traditional sealers. This results in a tighter, more even, and reliable seal, crucial for long-term food preservation.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your vacuum sealer.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. Vacuum Chamber: If food particles or liquids enter the vacuum chamber, wipe it clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Ensure it is completely dry before next use.
  4. Sealing Strip: Carefully wipe the sealing strip with a dry cloth. Do not scratch or damage the sealing strip, as this can affect sealing performance.
  5. Gaskets: Check the foam gaskets around the vacuum chamber for any food debris or damage. Clean gently if necessary.
  6. Storage: Store the appliance in a clean, dry place with the lid unlatched to prevent compression of the gaskets, which can lead to deformation over time.
