5. Installation

The EUERTE K10mini is designed for easy installation, typically within 15 minutes with a screwdriver. Ensure your door meets the following specifications:

• Door thickness: 1.38-2.16 inches (35-55mm)
• Backset: 2-3/8 inches (60mm) or 2-3/4 inches (70mm)

Installation Steps:

1. Install Latch and Strike Plate: Insert the latch into the door edge and secure it with screws. Install the strike plate on the door frame, aligning it with the latch.
2. Install Exterior Knob: Insert the exterior knob into the door, ensuring the 'UP' mark on the rosette faces upward.
3. Secure the Rosette: Place the lock rosette onto the door, aligning it with the exterior knob.
4. Insert and Tighten Screws: Insert the mounting screws through the interior side and tighten them to secure the exterior knob and rosette.
5. Install Interior Knob: Attach the interior knob, ensuring it aligns correctly with the internal mechanism. The knob should point to the circular mark above for normal function.

Adding Administrator Passwords (4-8 digits):

1. Press the '0' button and then the '✓' (tick) button.
2. Enter your new 4 to 8 digit administrator password and press '✓'.
3. When the '✓' button turns green, re-enter the password and press '✓' again to confirm.
4. The administrator password is now successfully added.

Adding User Passwords (4-8 digits):

1. Press the '1' button and then the '✓' (tick) button.
2. Enter your new 4 to 8 digit user password and press '✓'.
3. When the '✓' button turns green, re-enter the password and press '✓' again to confirm.
4. The user password is now successfully added.

Operating Modes:

The interior knob features a rotating button to switch between three modes:

• Normal Mode: The door automatically locks after 5 seconds. Both administrator and user passwords can unlock the door.
• Passage Mode: The door remains unlocked, allowing free entry and exit without needing a code.
• Privacy Mode: Only administrator passwords or mechanical keys can unlock the door. User passwords will not work in this mode.

Anti-Peep Passcode:

To enhance security, you can enter random digits before or after your actual code. The lock will still recognize the correct sequence within the longer entry. For example, if your code is 1234, you can enter 56123478 and the lock will open.
