2. Package Contents

3. Setup
The JBD Smart UART Port LCD Displayer connects to your JBD Smart BMS system via its UART port. Ensure your BMS supports UART communication.
- Locate the UART communication port on your JBD Smart BMS.
- Connect the appropriate cable (not included, typically supplied with BMS or displayer) from the BMS UART port to the corresponding port on the LCD Displayer.
- Ensure the connection is secure.

4. Operating Instructions
Once connected, the LCD displayer will power on and begin to show real-time parameters from your JBD Smart BMS. The specific parameters displayed may vary based on your BMS model and configuration.

5. Important Notes and Warnings
- UART and Bluetooth: The UART and Bluetooth communication functions typically share the same port and cannot be used simultaneously.
- UART/Bluetooth and RS485: UART/Bluetooth and RS485 communication can be used at the same time if your BMS supports both.
- JBD Smart Functionality: All JBD Smart BMS devices include both Bluetooth and UART functions.
- CANbus Conversion: UART communication can be converted to CANbus communication if required. This requires a separate UART to CAN converter module (not included).
- RS485 Module Compatibility: Before purchasing an RS485 module, ensure that your device specifically supports the RS485 function.
- Accessory Compatibility: Only devices with the corresponding function ports can utilize specific accessories.
- Appearance Variations: Due to different product batches, the appearance of the displayer may vary slightly, but this does not affect its functionality or use.
- Measurement Accuracy: Light reflection and different display settings may cause the color of the item in pictures to appear slightly different from the actual product. The allowed measurement error is +/- 1-3cm.
