Important Safety Instructions

Please read this manual carefully before using the Dreo DR-HSH006 space heater and retain it for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, electric shock, injury, or property damage.

General Safety Precautions:

• Do not use this heater outdoors or in wet locations.
• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug heater when not in use.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• Always keep away from water.

Setup

Unpacking:

Placement:

• Place the heater on a firm, level surface.
• Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, and other objects to allow for proper airflow and prevent fire hazards.
• Do not place the heater directly below a power outlet.
• Avoid placing the heater in areas where it could be easily tipped over or where the power cord could be a tripping hazard.
• This heater is suitable for use in bedrooms, offices, and other indoor living spaces.

Power Connection:

1. Ensure the heater is in the OFF position before plugging it in.
2. Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet. Do not use extension cords, power strips, or surge protectors.
3. Verify the plug is fully inserted into the outlet.

Operation

The Dreo DR-HSH006 heater can be operated using the touch controls on the top panel or the included remote control.

The control panel features intuitive touch buttons for power, mode selection, temperature adjustment, and timer. The remote control provides convenient access to all functions from a distance.

Power On/Off:

• Press the Power Button (symbol: circle with a vertical line) on the control panel or remote to turn the heater ON or OFF.
• When turning off, the fan may continue to run for a short period (approx. 30 seconds) to cool down the heating elements.

Mode Selection:

Press the Mode Button (symbol: M) to cycle through the available modes:

• High Heat (H3): Provides maximum heating at 1500W.
• Medium Heat (H2): Provides moderate heating at 1000W.
• Low Heat (H1): Provides gentle heating at 700W.
• ECO Mode: The heater automatically adjusts its power consumption to maintain the set temperature, optimizing energy use. This mode is ideal for energy saving.
• Fan Only Mode: Circulates air without heat.

Temperature Adjustment:

• In heating modes (H1, H2, H3, ECO), press the Plus (+) or Minus (-) buttons to adjust the desired temperature.
• The temperature can be set between 41°F and 95°F (5°C and 35°C) in 1°F increments.
• The heater will cycle ON and OFF to maintain the set temperature.

Timer Function:

• Press the Timer Button (symbol: clock) to set the auto-off timer.
• The timer can be set from 1 to 12 hours. Each press increases the timer by one hour.
• The heater will automatically turn off once the set time has elapsed.

Child Lock:

• To activate the Child Lock, press and hold the Child Lock Button (symbol: padlock) for 3 seconds. The display will show a lock icon.
• When activated, all buttons on the control panel will be disabled.
• To deactivate, press and hold the Child Lock Button again for 3 seconds.

Mute/Unmute Function:

• Press the Mute Button (symbol: speaker with a cross) on the remote control to turn button press sounds ON or OFF.

Memory Function:

• The heater will remember the last used settings (mode, temperature, timer) when it is turned off and then back on, provided it remains plugged in.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper storage will help maintain the performance and longevity of your Dreo space heater.

Cleaning Instructions:

1. Always turn off the heater and unplug it from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Allow the heater to cool down completely before handling.
3. Use a soft cloth, brush, or vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the surfaces, especially the air intake and exhaust grilles.
4. Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior of the heater.
5. Do not use abrasive cleaning products or chemical solvents, as these may damage the heater's finish or internal components.

Storage:
