Operating Instructions

Sharpening Knives (Stainless Steel & Ceramic)

  1. Turn on the sharpener using the power switch. The indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Stage 1: Crude Sharpening (for dull blades): Insert the knife blade into the 'Crude' slot at an angle, ensuring it stays in close contact with the outer wall of the slot. Pull the knife slowly and steadily from the heel to the tip, applying light, consistent downward pressure. Repeat this 2-5 times, alternating sides if necessary, until the blade feels sharper.
  3. Stage 2: Fine Polishing (for refining and finishing): Move the knife to the 'Fine' slot. Insert the blade at an angle, maintaining contact with the outer wall. Pull the knife slowly and steadily from heel to tip, applying very light pressure. Repeat this 2-5 times to polish the edge and remove any burrs.
  4. After sharpening, carefully wipe the blade with a damp cloth to remove any metal dust.
