4. Setup

4.1 Inserting SIM Card and microSD Card

1. Locate the SIM tray on the side of your OPPO A3 5G.
2. Insert the SIM tray ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and press firmly until the tray pops out.
3. Place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or microSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts are facing down.
4. Carefully push the tray back into the phone until it clicks into place.

4.2 Initial Power On and Setup Wizard

1. Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side) until the OPPO logo appears.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup:
   • Select your language and region.
   • Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
   • Review and accept the End User License Agreement.
   • Sign in with your Google account or create a new one.
   • Set up screen lock (PIN, pattern, fingerprint, face unlock).
   • Restore data from a previous device (optional).

4.3 Charging the Battery

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the battery. Use the provided 45W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge adapter and USB cable for optimal charging speed.

• Connect the USB cable to the phone's charging port.
• Connect the other end of the USB cable to the power adapter.
• Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
• The charging indicator will appear on the screen.

5. Operating Your OPPO A3 5G

5.1 Basic Navigation

• Power Button: Press to turn the screen on/off. Press and hold to power off or restart.
• Volume Buttons: Adjust media volume, call volume, or ringtone volume.
• Touchscreen Gestures: Tap, swipe, pinch-to-zoom for various functions.

5.2 Camera Functions

The OPPO A3 5G features a 50MP Ultra-Clear Camera. To access the camera, tap the Camera icon on your home screen or app drawer.

5.4 Battery Management

• Enable Smart Charging in battery settings.
