Setup Guide
1. Unboxing and Inspection
Carefully remove the Smart WiFi Power Strip from its packaging. Inspect the device for any signs of damage. If any damage is found, do not use the product and contact customer support.
2. Power Connection
- Plug the power strip into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
- Ensure the power strip's main power button is in the "On" position.
3. Mobile Application Installation
The Jinvocloud Smart WiFi Power Strip operates with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life application. Download the app from your device's app store:
- For iOS devices: Search "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" in the Apple App Store.
- For Android devices: Search "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" in the Google Play Store.
Alternatively, you can scan the QR code provided in the app's instructions or on the product packaging to download the app.

4. Device Pairing (WiFi Connection)
Important Note: The power strip only supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network during the pairing process. 5GHz WiFi networks are not supported.
- Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life application and register/log in to your account.
- Tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a device.
- Select "Electrical Outlet" or "Power Strip" from the device list.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to put the power strip into pairing mode. This usually involves pressing and holding the main power button on the power strip until the indicator light blinks rapidly.
- Confirm the indicator light is blinking rapidly in the app.
- Enter your 2.4GHz WiFi network password.
- Wait for the device to connect. Once connected, the indicator light will stop blinking and remain solid.
- You can rename the power strip and its individual outlets/USB ports within the app for easier identification.
Operating Instructions
1. Manual Control
- Main Power Button: Press the main power button on the power strip to turn all connected AC outlets and USB ports on or off simultaneously.
- Individual Outlet Buttons: Each AC outlet has a small indicator light. While the power strip itself does not have individual physical buttons for each AC outlet, control is primarily through the app or voice commands.
2. App Control
Once paired, you can control the power strip using the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app:
- Individual AC Outlet Control: In the app interface for the power strip, you will see separate toggles for each of the 4 AC outlets. Tap to turn them on or off independently.
- USB Port Control: The 4 USB ports are controlled as a single unit. There will be one toggle in the app to turn all USB ports on or off.
- Scheduling: Navigate to the "Schedule" or "Timer" section within the device settings in the app. Set specific times for outlets/USB ports to turn on or off.
- Countdown Timer: Use the countdown function to automatically turn off an outlet or the USB ports after a set duration.
- Scene/Automation: Create custom scenes or automations based on conditions like time of day, device status, or other smart home triggers.

3. Voice Control (Alexa/Google Home)
To enable voice control, you need to link your Tuya Smart/Smart Life account with your Amazon Alexa or Google Home account.
- For Amazon Alexa:
- Open the Alexa app.

- Search for "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" skill and enable it.
