3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The Raddy AG7 requires batteries for operation. Please install 1 x 9V battery (not included) into the outdoor sensor unit and AAA batteries (not included) into the display console for power saving, or use the provided adapter for continuous display.

The outdoor sensor should be installed in an open area, away from obstructions, to ensure accurate readings. It has a transmission range of up to 100m (330ft). The unit offers various mounting options:
- Mount on top of a flat surface.
- Mount on top of a pole (recommended minimum diameter 2.4 cm / 0.9 inches).
- Mount on the side of a vertical surface.
- Mount on the side of a pole.
