This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Sanpyl Video Doorbell System. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper functionality and safety.
The Sanpyl Video Doorbell System includes a 4.3-inch monitor and a 1080P HD camera, offering day and night vision, two-way intercom, and remote unlock capabilities for enhanced home security.

2.2 Component Identification
Familiarize yourself with the main parts of the doorbell system:
- Outdoor Doorbell Unit: Features an 8MP HD camera with a 170-degree wide-angle fisheye lens, infrared night vision light, microphone, speaker, and doorbell button.
- Indoor Monitor Unit: A 4.3-inch display for viewing visitors, two-way communication, and system controls.

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Charging the Units
Both the outdoor doorbell unit and the indoor monitor unit are equipped with built-in batteries. Before initial use, fully charge both units using the provided USB cable and a compatible USB power adapter (not included).

3.2 Outdoor Doorbell Installation
- Choose Location: Select a suitable location near your door, ensuring the camera has a clear view of the entrance and is within wireless range. The unit is IP65 rated for dust and water resistance, suitable for outdoor exposure.
- Mounting Plate: Use the mounting plate as a template to mark drill holes on the wall.
- Drill Holes: Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
- Secure Mounting Plate: Attach the mounting plate to the wall using the provided screws.
- Attach Doorbell Unit: Slide the doorbell unit onto the mounting plate. Secure it with the anti-theft fixing screws at the bottom to prevent unauthorized removal.
3.3 Indoor Monitor Placement
Place the indoor monitor in a convenient location where you can easily see and hear it when the doorbell rings. Ensure it is within wireless communication range of the outdoor unit.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Answering a Visitor
- When a visitor presses the doorbell button, the indoor monitor will ring and display the live video feed from the outdoor camera.
- To communicate, press the "Answer" button on the indoor monitor. This activates the two-way intercom, allowing you to speak with the visitor and hear their response.
- To end the conversation, press the "End Call" button.

4.2 Day and Night Vision
The doorbell camera automatically switches between day and night modes. During low-light conditions, the built-in infrared night vision light activates, combined with an ICR infrared filter, to provide clear visibility in dark environments.

4.3 Unlocking Function (If applicable)
If your system is connected to a compatible electronic door lock (sold separately), you can unlock the door directly from the indoor monitor. Refer to the specific instructions for connecting your electronic lock to the doorbell system.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Outdoor Unit: Wipe the camera lens and housing with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents. The IP65 rating protects against dust and water splashes, but direct high-pressure water jets should be avoided.
- Indoor Monitor: Clean the screen and casing with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth.

5.2 Battery Care
- Recharge the units when the battery indicator shows low power.
- Avoid fully discharging the batteries frequently to prolong their lifespan.
- If storing the device for an extended period, charge the batteries to approximately 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Sanpyl Video Doorbell System, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
