4. Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your pressure washer for use:

  1. Assemble the unit: Attach any wheels or handles if they are not pre-assembled, following the diagrams in the manual.
  2. Connect the high-pressure hose: Securely attach one end of the 5-meter high-pressure hose to the outlet on the pressure washer unit and the other end to the spray gun. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  3. Connect the water supply: Attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the water inlet on the pressure washer. Ensure the garden hose is free of kinks and has an adequate water supply. Turn on the water tap completely.
  4. Purge air from the system: Before connecting to power, squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to allow water to flow through the system and expel any trapped air. Continue until a steady stream of water emerges from the nozzle.
  5. Connect to power: Plug the pressure washer into a grounded 220-240V, 50/60Hz electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the unit is set up and connected, follow these steps for operation:

  1. Turn on the pressure washer: Flip the power switch to the 'ON' position. The motor will start briefly and then stop. This is normal due to the Auto Stop System.
  2. Begin spraying: Point the spray gun nozzle at the surface to be cleaned, ensuring a safe distance. Squeeze the trigger to start the water flow and activate the motor.
  3. Adjusting spray pattern: The spray gun typically allows for adjustment of the spray pattern by twisting the nozzle or by attaching different nozzles (if included). Refer to your specific nozzle type for adjustment methods.
  4. Using the soap bottle: Fill the soap bottle with appropriate pressure washer detergent. Attach the soap bottle to the designated inlet on the spray gun or pressure washer unit. The pressure washer will draw detergent when operating at low pressure or with a specific soap nozzle.
  5. Auto Stop System: The pressure washer is equipped with an Auto Stop System. The motor will automatically shut off when the trigger is released and restart when the trigger is squeezed again. This conserves energy and extends pump life.
  6. Shutting down: When finished, turn off the power switch on the unit. Turn off the water supply. Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the hose. Disconnect the garden hose and high-pressure hose.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure washer.

  • Clean the nozzle: Periodically check the nozzle for blockages. Use the included nozzle cleaning tool (if provided) to clear any debris.
  • Inspect hoses: Regularly check the high-pressure hose and garden hose for kinks, cuts, or leaks. Replace damaged hoses immediately.
  • Clean water inlet filter: The water inlet typically has a filter to prevent debris from entering the pump. Clean this filter regularly by rinsing it under running water.
  • Winter storage: If storing the pressure washer in an area where temperatures may drop below freezing, drain all water from the pump and hoses to prevent damage from freezing. Consider using a pump protector solution.
  • General cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
